Phwoar! What a wonderful composition and perspective. Love the design, reminiscent of Jane's dad in Tarzan or Sabreman from Sabrewulf.
It's funny how cemented certain types of characters are in media.

Yeah definitely ! For the old explorer’s design I went and did a mix of Carl from UP, an older Indiana Jones, ’the great explorers aesthetic’ and some old familly pictures (especially for the mustache design and wrinkles).
Glad you enjoyed the hands, I had to remove some tiles that defined more clearly their shape to fit into the 192 tile limit.
