After a long travel, there‘s no place like home.
Entry for the gb pixel art jam 2024.
This piece has been made using mixed media : pixel painting and pictures I‘ve taken with my gameboy camera.
This jam was the perfect playground to try out that technique and I’m quite happy with the result !
Thanks again for GB Studio Central and Bad Dad for hosting this Jam, and Cactus Celery for the wonderful color palette that I‘ve ended up using.

I would love to see what pictures were used?? Was it just one or did you layer several together? It's a very effective medium, great work!

The one used in this piece are part of my current collection ‘‘At Sea‘‘.
At first, I created a collage of different pictures as a base/rough and then I redrew over them.
